A passion for helping others led Dr. Rafael A Lugo down the path of Medicine into a career that allows him to provide his patients with high-quality healthcare. As a professional Surgeon since 1998, Dr Lugo brings a holistic approach to medicine in order to find comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.
Dr. Lugo was born in Miami and raised in Puerto Rico. He went to college and medical school in Puerto Rico and then attended the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans where he specialized in general surgery.
Dr. Rafael Lugo has been in the Houston area since 1999 and has established a solo practice in The Woodlands, servicing the north Houston areas and surrounding cities and counties.
Dr. Lugo is a general surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive techniques and also robotic surgery using the DaVinci systems.
Dr. Rafael Lugo has a very diverse background with vast expertise in many areas and a very long list of procedures that he can perform well.
