Yes Mike. We have the best healthcare and if we do not take care of it, we will loose that. Thanks for commenting.

Very good, I agree 100% .If something is to be done about the state of the Health care system the Goverment and the insurance industries needs to tone down their involvement and get back to letting the medical community do what they do best and after all the doctors are the professionals regarding patient care not the bureacrats.

Hello. Well first of all, I am not sure I understand what the laser treatment that you refer to is. The closest thing is the infrared coagulator and that does not work very well. IT requires many treatments and then they still recur. If you have severe hemorrhoids, your best bet is to have surgery. It is painful, but will solve the problem once and for all. IT is hard to tell without looking at them. Have a colon and rectal surgeon look at them or a good general surgeon that has good experience with hemorrhoid surgery. There is also a new procedure called the PPH hemorrhoidectomy and also the doppler directed hemorrhoid artery ligation. these are usually alternatives to the traditional surgery and less painful. I hope I helped you with these answers.

Dr. Lugo as a long time hemorrhoid suffer. I have tried many a treatment and just recently tried the laser one (1 year ago) They are back.. and I am back to my regular itching and not to be blunt but my rectum area and surrounding tissue looks like a disaster as my wife would I put it. Should i consult maybe a dermatologist for the skin issue and than deal with hemorroids for nothing is seeming to work for me...?
